We are a **leading civil engineering contractor** known for delivering high-profile highways, civils, and infrastructure projects across the UK. As we continue to expand our footprint, we’re seeking a driven **Assistant Site Engineer** to support the delivery of our landmark project.
*Your Role:* As an Assistant Site Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of construction operations—ensuring precision, safety, and quality on-site. From setting out works to supporting the site management team, you’ll play a key part in keeping the project running smoothly and to spec.
*Key Responsibilities.* *Carry out accurate site surveys and setting out of engineering works. *Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specs and safety regulations. * Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and subcontractors to plan and deliver works efficiently. * Keep detailed records of site progress and quality control checks. * Help resolve on-site technical challenges in real time. * Promote and uphold health and safety standards at all times. * Offer support and mentorship to junior engineering staff. * Engage with the design team and stakeholders to manage engineering queries. * Ensure project deadlines are met with high-quality execution.
*What We’re Looking For.* * A Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related field)or another education equivalent this * A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail. * A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
